My passion is creating new things that have a positive impact in the health care setting. From inventing surgical devices that make operations safer, to working on sensor systems that can improve operating room efficiency, I want to make the field of medicine better for the patient, staff and physician.
I am always exploring new technology and thinking about how they can be applied to the medical field. With so much new technology reaching the market and at such a rapid pace, it is exciting to take new products and bring them into the health care setting to see how they may augment not only the surgical experience, but serve to advance medicine as a whole.

Functionality, ergonomics and aesthetics all matter when it comes to medical devices. With my understanding of anatomy, movement as well as operative needs, I design not only for function but with form and ease of use in mind.
DEVICE DEVELOPMENT
I take ideas and bring them all the way to physical products ready for testing. Through modern rapid prototyping technology, I am able to construct and iterate medical devices faster than ever to reach a final product.
MEDICAL & BIOTECH RESEARCH
I have trained in world class institutions and under leaders of their respective fields. I am well versed in general surgery, tissue engineering, organ fabrication, in vivo/vitro studies, basic science research as well as with initiation of small scale clinical trials with medical devices.
